Multi Cloud / Hybrid Cloud environments
Customers can choose to extend access to their IaaS infrastructure to platforms outside Cloud Computing or physical systems hosted in on-premise or third-party Data Centers.
Interconnection options for multi cloud and hybrid cloud environments
This extension is offered through three methods: Virtual Private Network in VPN IPsec modes through the Internet, or VPN through BGP with IX.br or through dedicated telecommunications circuits. For all scenarios, the customer must hire dedicated network equipment to establish these interconnections:
VPN over the Internet
The customer can establish IPSec Lan-to-Lan VPN over the Internet, between the IaaS network and external environments. In this type of interconnection, the customer will need to hire dedicated switch and firewall equipment.
Bi-directional VPN on IX.BR
The client can establish BGP (border gateway protocol) through the PIX interconnection point present in the Matrix Data Center. In this modality, the customer will need to hire dedicated switching and routing equipment.
Dedicated User Telecommunications Circuits
The customer can establish point-to-point circuits connecting external environments to Cloud Computing. In this mode the client will be cross-connected to dedicated network equipment.
