Matrix's Data Center has redundant bandwidth for Internet access, established by circuits from multiple operators and approaches, through different means and paths. This configuration guarantees an effective availability of 99.9% of the Data Center's communication with the Internet. The backbone fiber optics have very low latency. This configuration guarantees bandwidth with immediate scalability (1), so that mission-critical equipment and systems hosted in the Data Center can handle peak demand in a transparent manner for its customers and end users, without interruptions or degradations in telecommunications.
Additionally, the Matrix is the IX.br interconnection point in the CGI.BR, which guarantees lower latency and greater connection resilience, minimizing the number of networks for a given destination. This allows the customer to establish an Autonomous System (AS - autonomous system) and exchange traffic directly with other AS, through specific commercial agreements with CGI.BR. This communication alternative gives Matrix customers access to more than 400 operators participating in the project, with an aggregate capacity of terabytes of bandwidth. Learn more at www.ix.br.
