Routers and Switches
DC Core Routers - Internet
The set of core routers concentrate multiple Internet access circuits, with N+1 redundancy, and for any active circuit there will always be a passive circuit available to support eventual failures or scheduled maintenance.
Core Routers - BGP
The set of border gateway protocol – BGP routers enable clients who wish to establish an autonomous network system – Autonomous System (AS). In this band modality, in addition to connectivity through Internet Core Routers, the customer is directly connected to the Internet Exchange in Brazil (IX-BR), through the establishment of bi-directional VLANs and physical and dedicated cross-connections for each customer .
Aggregation Switches and Routers
They are responsible for the communication between the groups of core routers and for the intermediation and exchange of traffic to the distribution network. This equipment configures the modality and bandwidth contracted by each end customer, in addition to being the inspection point for the traffic of the Anti-DDoS and Anti-Spoofing solutions.
DC Switches - Distribution
They concentrate the accesses of several TOR switches (top of rack) dedicated to the customers. Distribution switches provide connectivity between the various physical equipment access layers, forwarding traffic to the aggregation switches and the network core.
Distribution Switch - Cloud Computing
Specialist network segregation for Cloud Computing infrastructure, aims to consolidate traffic from virtualization clusters.
Virtual Connect Switch – Cloud Computing
Allow to integrate traffic from external physical systems with Matrix Cloud Computing virtual systems. It is a physical, redundant interconnect for customer-dedicated TOR switches.
TOR Switch - Access
Access switches are offered in a dedicated way, being responsible for the physical isolation of the customer's network. They are interconnected to the distribution switches through UTP Cat6 cabling in patch cord certificates, following the ABNT NBR 14565: 2019 standard. In specific cases, when previously agreed, the interconnection with the distribution switches may be performed using an optical interface.
