Property security
All areas of the Data Center have electronic monitoring by camera, with recording and retention of images for 90 days, available for customer consultation. Any access to the Data Center facilities must be previously released by the customer, the visitor's identity being confirmed by armed security agents and the visitor's data registered in the property security systems.
Building facilities include up to five levels of physical security, all equipped with access control and intrusion prevention devices: The Data Center Matrix perimeter is the first level of security, protected by two levels of concertina and forty-designed fences. five degrees. The system has an infrared intrusion alarm. Upon entering the perimeter, the visitor is isolated in a steel bay, where he presents an identification document in the armored guardhouse to the armed security guard.
In this second level of physical security, the visitor with positive identification and prior authorization from the customer, is registered and receives a badge to access the internal premises of the Data Center. The tourniquet-style access door ensures that only the positively identified visitor has access to the facilities.
Visitors then access the third level of physical security, in the Data Center entrance hall, after validating their badge at the access turnstile. At this point, a second screening takes place by an armed security agent, where the level of access required for each visitor is checked. The visitor will be accompanied by security to the destination within the Data Center facilities. If you need access to the production areas, you must validate your badge again for access to the elevators.
The fourth level of security is validated at the door of the production areas, where biometric validation of the visitor will be required, in addition to the badge, for access to the racks. The customer can also choose to have a fifth level of physical security for their equipment, by contracting the service of caged space , isolating your equipment in a rack with steel grating, key and/or access controls for opening.
